Western Officials Plan to Warn UAE About Trade with Russia

The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday that American and European officials stated that "Officials from the United States, Britain, and the European Union plan to jointly press the UAE this week to halt shipments of goods to Russia that could aid Moscow in its war against Ukraine." The report noted that "Officials from Washington and European capitals will begin a visit to the UAE today as part of a global collective campaign to keep dual-use products, which can be used for both civilian and military activities, out of Russian hands, including computer chips and electronic components."
