Alcaraz Continues to Dominate Everyone

Carlos Alcaraz, the world number one, drew 1-1 after defeating Borna Coric 6-3, 6-7, 10-5 to secure his second win in singles matches at the tournament held on clay courts in Nice, just days after being crowned champion at Wimbledon on grass courts. Alcaraz took the first set in 36 minutes, showing improved performance compared to his first match against Belgian David Goffin, but Coric leveled the match after winning a close tiebreak in the second set.

The players went to a tiebreak after splitting the first two sets, where Alcaraz raised his game to clinch the match, which lasted just over two hours, leading to a mixed doubles match where Croatia maintained their composure, turning around a set deficit to achieve an unforgettable victory.

Croatia will face the Swiss team in the final scheduled for today, Sunday, hoping to secure their second title in the tournament after their success in 1996.
