Monitors from the Ministry of Economy and Trade's Consumer Protection Directorate toured fuel stations, commercial establishments, and meat, vegetable, and fruit shops in the Nabatieh Governorate. This took place in the presence of the director, Mohammed Baytar, and with the support of elements from the State Security Agency's regional directorate in Nabatieh, covering the cities of Nabatieh, Qfaruman, Haboush, Deir Zahrani, Bafroufa, Zefta, Kfar Djal, and Adchit. A report was filed against the owner of a fuel station for selling a canister of gasoline at a price higher than the official price. Written warnings were issued to some business owners, instructing them to display prices on the goods offered for sale in their shops, under the threat of having reports filed against them.
