The Tunisian government announced today, Friday, that it will impose customs duties on certain Turkish industrial products as part of a review of the trade agreement with Turkey. The trade deficit is one of the main issues facing Tunisia, which is experiencing an unprecedented financial and economic crisis. The government added that as part of the agreement review, Turkey will exempt annual quotas of some Tunisian agricultural product exports from customs duties.
