Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office, stated on Tuesday that "the postponement of U.S. assistance to Kyiv currently being discussed in Congress will create a great danger of Ukraine losing its war with Russia." He affirmed before the audience at the U.S. Institute of Peace, a research center, that "it will be really difficult to stay in the same positions, and it will be hard for people to survive without direct budgetary support."
