Iran Concerned About Ain al-Hilweh Clashes

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani expressed "concern over the occurrence and continuation of armed clashes in the Palestinian Ain al-Hilweh camp in southern Lebanon," which have resulted in dozens of fatalities and injuries among Palestinians and have caused a significant number of Palestinians to be displaced again. Kanaani emphasized "the necessity of a complete halt to the clashes in Ain al-Hilweh and for everyone to commit to a ceasefire and peace," noting that "the Palestinian scene requires unity and cohesion among the Palestinians more than ever."
