His teammate, striker Ayman Mahious, extended the lead by scoring two consecutive goals in the 23rd and 34th minutes of the first half. The fourth goal came as an own goal by Niger's defender Katakouri in the 45th minute. Algerian striker Bayezid concluded the goal fest by scoring the fifth goal for his country in the 83rd minute of the match held at the "Miloud Hadefi" Stadium in the Oran province west of the capital Algiers.
