Palestinian Foreign Minister: A Comprehensive Ceasefire in Gaza Must Be Implemented

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki said today in The Hague that Israel must agree to a complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to allow urgent entry of necessary humanitarian aid. European Union leaders are expected to call for humanitarian ceasefire periods from bombing in Gaza today to allow aid to enter; however, al-Maliki stated that this proposal is unacceptable as it will not guarantee the entry of aid and the restoration of water and electricity supplies.
