Makari: We Will Include Reuters and AFP Reports in International Complaints Against Israel

The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Makari, wrote on the "X" platform: "After 54 days since the martyrdom of the photojournalist Issam Abdullah from Reuters, and the injury of Kristina Assi from AFP along with 6 others, an investigative report was issued by both agencies that condemned the Israeli enemy for directly targeting journalists with a 'Merkava' tank shell. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch classified the report as a 'war crime.' Lebanon will include these two reports in the international complaints filed against the Israeli enemy, and they will also be forwarded to security, judicial, and diplomatic authorities. We affirm that we will pursue the case of the martyrdom and injury of these journalists to the end, without yielding."
