The Lebanese Under-21 men's beach volleyball team has qualified for the World Championship set to take place next November in Thailand, after finishing fourth in the Asian Championship held in Bangkok, marking a historic achievement for volleyball in Lebanon, which is currently enjoying its golden days with the women's national team having secured the West Asian Championship title last November in Amman without any losses. Lebanon qualified deservedly for the Youth World Cup alongside countries such as Australia, China, Iran, and Kazakhstan. Lebanon finished fourth on Sunday, enabling them to qualify for this significant global event. The Lebanese team consisted of players Omar Mark Abi Karam and Hadi Shadi Shbib, under the guidance of national coach William Asmar and assistant coach Fred Moussa. The Lebanese delegation is expected to arrive at Rafic Hariri International Airport at 6 am on Tuesday, July 18, where they will be warmly welcomed. In this context, the President of the Volleyball Federation, Walid Qassouf, contacted the delegation and congratulated them, on behalf of the Lebanese volleyball family, for their international achievement.
