The Amiri Diwan announced today, Sunday, that the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received a phone call from U.S. President Joe Biden to discuss "the latest developments in Gaza." The Diwan added that during the call, the Emir emphasized "the necessity of an immediate ceasefire, stopping the bloodshed, protecting civilians in Gaza, and permanently opening the Rafah crossing."
