White House: Over 80 Aid Trucks Entered Gaza in 24 Hours

The White House announced that over 80 trucks of humanitarian aid entered Gaza in the past 24 hours and that between 500 and 600 Americans have not yet exited the Palestinian territory. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters, "We know we have evacuated around 400 so far, leaving about 500 or 600 remaining when we account for family members present." Thousands of Palestinian civilians left northern Gaza on Wednesday in search of safe shelter from Israeli airstrikes and fierce ground fighting between Israelis and Hamas.
