American Reporter Gershkovich Appeals Detention Extension in Russia

Russian state media reported today, Saturday, that American journalist Evan Gershkovich has filed an appeal against the latest decision to extend his detention while awaiting trial in Moscow on charges of espionage, which he denies. The TASS news agency quoted a court in Moscow stating that it had received the appeal from the defense team of the Wall Street Journal reporter.
