Hamas Willing to Release Some Prisoners in Exchange for Ceasefire, According to BBC

BBC correspondent Frank Gardner reported that the Palestinian movement Hamas has informed Israel of its readiness to release some of the prisoners it holds in exchange for an immediate ceasefire. Gardner emphasized on the platform X that, as of now, both parties have not reached an agreement on this matter. The Israeli ambassador to Russia, Alexander Ben Zvi, stated earlier that he does not see any progress in the release of the hostages held by Hamas. He noted that Israel is demanding Hamas to "unilaterally release women, children, and the elderly."
