The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced early Sunday that three of its members in Lebanon were killed in an attack targeting an Israeli observation point on the border between Israel and Lebanon this morning. They added in a statement published on their Telegram account that the group was able to detonate the border fence and target the observation point, crossing into areas near the settlement of Margaliot in northern Israel. The statement further mentioned that during the clash, Israeli aircraft bombed the militants, resulting in their deaths. Earlier, the newspaper Haaretz and i24 News reported that sirens were heard in the Galilee region of northern Israel and the Golan Heights along the border with Syria.
