The Turkish football club "Beşiktaş" announced on Monday that it has signed English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on a free transfer for three years, following the expiration of his contract with Liverpool. Oxlade-Chamberlain struggled last season, playing only 13 matches with the Merseyside club. He joined Liverpool in 2017 from Arsenal, making 146 appearances and scoring 18 goals during his time there. Beşiktaş stated that it will pay Oxlade-Chamberlain 2.5 million euros ($2.73 million) per season under the three-year contract. The 29-year-old player has earned 35 international caps and scored seven international goals since making his debut for England in 2012.
