Iran Accuses Israel of Sabotaging Its Missile Program

Iran has accused Israel of being behind a foiled conspiracy to sabotage its defense industries and missile production. Iranian state television reported that "the intelligence unit of the Ministry of Defense thwarted one of the largest sabotage plots targeting the military industries of missiles, aviation, and space in the country." It continued that "this sabotage operation was conducted under the supervision of Zionist intelligence and its agents." State media cited an unnamed official from the Iranian Ministry of Defense stating, "A network of agents sought to introduce defective parts into the production of advanced missiles."
