The Aramoun area experienced significant tension on the night of Saturday to Sunday after a Syrian displaced person stabbed a Lebanese individual, which sparked anger among the locals who burned several motorcycles belonging to displaced individuals in the area and threatened to expel them. The Lebanese Army intervened immediately, took strict measures, and apprehended the Syrian displaced person.
