Countries Planning to Evacuate Their Citizens from Israel

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced on Wednesday that Australia has organized two flights to bring its citizens back from Israel. He explained that the first flight will leave on Friday and the second on Sunday, both from Ben Gurion Airport to London. Albanese stated at a press conference, "We are assessing all options to bring Australians who wish to return home as quickly as possible." He noted that the large number of Australians living or traveling in Israel makes it difficult to accurately determine the number of citizens present there.

**Denmark**

The Danish government stated on Wednesday that it will offer to evacuate its citizens and permanent residents from Israel and the Palestinian territories. The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned in a statement that there are approximately 1,200 Danes believed to be in Israel and 90 believed to be in the Palestinian territories. They added that planes will be sent to the region and evacuation operations will begin in the coming days.

**Canada**

Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly revealed on Tuesday evening that Canada plans to evacuate its citizens from Israel in the coming days with the help of Canadian Armed Forces aircraft. She said, "We plan to start assisting Canadians in leaving Tel Aviv in the coming days. We are also preparing additional options for those who cannot reach the airport in Tel Aviv."

**Sweden**

Swedish news agency TT reported that Foreign Minister Tobias Billström stated that the Swedish government will offer to evacuate Swedish citizens from Israel and the Palestinian territories.
