Civilian Killed and Another Injured in Russian Drone Attack in Kherson Region

Ukrainian authorities said on Saturday that one civilian was killed and another injured after Russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone on a town in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine. Prosecutors have opened a war crimes investigation into the incident, which occurred at 10 a.m. local time (08:00 GMT) in the town of Beryslav. Officials stated that the deceased and the injured were walking on the street at the time of the attack. Russian forces have been regularly launching attacks on the western part of the Kherson region, particularly its capital of the same name, since their withdrawal across the Dnipro River late last year.
