Benjamin Kondratiev, the governor of Russia's Krasnodar region, reported that a fire broke out in a diesel tank early Wednesday in the Adler district of the coastal city of Sochi on the Black Sea. He added that initial information did not indicate any injuries. Kondratiev stated via Telegram, "The causes of the incident are being investigated." Later, Alexei Kubaihorodski, the mayor of Sochi, announced that the fire near the airport in the Black Sea resort city had been brought under control. He added through the messaging platform Telegram, "There are no casualties. The airport and the entire transport system are operating normally."
