Intense Israeli Bombing on the Southern Lebanon Borders

The border area between the towns of Dhahirah and Alama Al-Shaab is witnessing mutual gunfire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, alongside heavy bombardment from the Israeli side and extensive flyovers by Apache helicopters. The shelling on the outskirts of Alama Al-Shaab has caused a massive fire. The Lebanese army command announced that the Israeli army targeted an unoccupied surveillance tower of the army in the outskirts of Alama Al-Shaab with no injuries reported. The Al-Abad site near the town of Hula and the Misgav Am settlement near the town of Adayssah were also targeted.

UNIFIL forces activated alarms at their locations and requested their units to take shelter. An Israeli army spokesperson stated, "A short while ago, an explosion occurred at the border fence in Hanita, resulting in slight damage to the wall. In response, the Israeli army is now retaliating by firing artillery toward Lebanese territories." He added, "Later, an alert was activated regarding an infiltration into the settlement. The Israeli army forces are currently combing the area." The Israeli army had requested residents of a village near the Lebanese border to shelter in their homes and close doors and windows, stating that there is a suspected infiltration operation underway by armed militants. The alarm was issued in Hanita, located 500 meters from the border, opposite the Lebanese village of Alama Al-Shaab.
