Death of Lebanese Journalist at the Southern Border

Iranian media published a video documenting the moment an Iranian team of television documentary filmmakers was subjected to gunfire at the border between Lebanon and Palestine. The team, consisting of seven members including a Lebanese journalist, was led by prominent Iranian broadcaster Mohsen Maghsoudi and had traveled to the southern border to film a documentary on recent developments in Palestine. Upon arrival at the border, they came under fire amidst what appeared to be clashes between Israeli soldiers and members of "Hezbollah."

Maghsoudi later announced via his account on "X" that "all six Iranian journalists are fine, but one of the Lebanese journalists accompanying them died during this incident." Additionally, images of Maghsoudi in a hospital were shared, apparently receiving treatment for a superficial injury caused by shrapnel. It was reported that the crew went to this area without coordination with any party before they were able to leave the area with the assistance of UN forces.
