The Secretary-General of Islamic Jihad, Ziad al-Nakhalah, indicated today, Tuesday, that the "negotiation style regarding the Israeli hostages may push the movement to withdraw from any agreement." He stated in a statement: "The movement may retain the hostages it holds for better conditions." He added: "The method of negotiations concerning the enemy's prisoners we have, and its reactions, may lead Islamic Jihad to be out of the deal being discussed in the media and to retain its prisoners for better conditions."
