Airstrike Near Rafah Border Crossing Between Gaza and Sinai... Threat from Israel

Israeli Channel 12 reported that "Israel threatened Egypt to strike any trucks carrying aid attempting to enter Gaza from the Rafah crossing." Three Egyptian security sources and a witness stated that an airstrike occurred near the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Sinai on Tuesday. The security sources indicated that the strike comes amid Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip and follows a similar incident that occurred on Monday, which partially disrupted operations at the border. The crossing was functioning normally earlier on Tuesday. The Palestinian Interior Ministry confirmed that Israeli aircraft are bombing the Rafah crossing on the border with Egypt.
