Russia Demands Release of Detainees in Gaza During Talks with Hamas

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov called for the release of detainees in the Gaza Strip during phone conversations held yesterday (Sunday) and today (Monday) with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions. This comes after a series of meetings and communications between President Vladimir Putin and leaders in the Middle East, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
