Title: Impact of Gaza War on Food Supplies in Lebanon

The President of the Syndicate of Food Importers, Hani Bahsali, assured that "currently there is no issue regarding the supply of food items, whether it concerns the arrival of goods or the existing stock in Lebanon," emphasizing at the same time that food prices will not be affected by the events in Gaza and have remained stable. He confirmed that "things are going smoothly and there is no need to take any action." He stated: "Despite the instability and pressure prevailing in the scene in Lebanon, things are functioning normally, and operations at the Port of Beirut and Rafic Hariri International Airport are proceeding as usual." Bahsali pointed out that "there are many goods in the markets and in storage, of all types, sufficient for at least three months." He concluded by saying: "There is no need to rush to buy and stockpile food items as supplies are available," hoping that "things do not escalate into a war or major security disturbances that could have negative repercussions on the airport and the port, because then we will have another discussion."
