The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported today, Tuesday, that "25 people were killed, mostly from pro-regime militants, in clashes that lasted several hours with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria." Following the confrontations that erupted on Monday, the SDF, a coalition of Kurdish and Arab factions supported by the U.S., increased its presence in the area. This morning, they announced the "expulsion of regime militants from the town of al-Dhiban after hours of infiltrating from areas under their control."
