Israel Strikes Syrian Military Targets in Response to Rocket Fire

The Israeli army stated that it carried out an attack on Syrian military targets overnight in response to earlier rocket fire. The military struck what it described as "infrastructure of the Syrian army." It had mentioned late yesterday that five rockets were launched from Syrian territory. The army also noted that warplanes targeted positions belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Syrian Observatory reported that the Israeli strikes targeted an artillery battery of the Syrian army that includes members of Hezbollah.
