Notice of Search and Investigation Against a Lebanese Journalist

The journalist Layal Al Ikhtiyar announced in a post via her account on the platform "X" that she has been notified of a search and investigation warrant issued by the military public prosecution in Lebanon. She stated: "I have just been informed that a search and investigation warrant has been issued against me by the military public prosecution in Lebanon, following what is termed the complaint filed against me by individuals associated with Hezbollah, under disguised titles. This step is a blatant political persecution, using judicial repression. It has nothing to do with rights, truth, or justice." She continued: "I am not afraid because I am Lebanese from now until the Day of Judgment and Arab from now until my last breath. You will not touch my freedom, my dignity, or my convictions no matter what you do."
