Caretaker Government Prepares Various Files, Most Notably Regarding Vacancies

Political sources informed "Al-Liwaa" that there is no comment on the sessions of the Council of Ministers, and that the call for a new meeting will take place when the time is right. They indicated that the previous mechanism of sending topics for discussion to the ministers will continue. However, the same sources noted that the government is surrounded by a minefield, particularly concerning the file of displaced individuals, in light of the follow-up on the decisions that were made, unless it is decided to withdraw the file from governmental discussions. They mentioned that a series of files are being prepared in the meetings of the caretaker government, especially if the vacancy period extends, with the most notable topic relating to job vacancies. They confirmed that the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers is preparing the items to be included on the agenda, particularly concerning the leadership of the army and the appointment of a new Chief of Staff, in light of the Druze demands to finalize this file.
