The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced today that they will begin executing an Israeli civilian prisoner in retaliation for any new Israeli airstrikes on civilian homes without prior warning. Abu Ubaida, spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades, stated, "We announce that any targeting of our safe citizens in their homes without prior warning will be met regretfully with the execution of one of the civilian hostages we have, and we will broadcast this compelled by circumstances with sound and image."
