Nasrallah Calls on Lebanese to Dialogue and Leaves Developments to Al-Quds Day

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah stated that, "In light of what has happened in southern Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, and Jerusalem, as well as the developments in Syria, since these events revolve around a single axis, he will leave the discussion of details until next Friday during the commemoration of Al-Quds Day."

During the weekly religious lecture for the month of Ramadan, Nasrallah called for wide participation in commemorating Al-Quds Day, as part of the struggle undertaken by the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region in defense of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Nasrallah addressed the Lebanese, saying: "In this country, our choice is to live together; any political disagreement must be resolved, as was the case during the civil war." He asked, "When a disagreement arises, whether among political forces or the people, why do we go to the extremes? We must leave a path for reconciliation because we are citizens of one country and live together."

He affirmed that for those who say, “You have your Lebanon and we have our Lebanon,” this is nonsensical and should not be said at all. We should not build walls but rather meet and engage in dialogue.
