Wiam Wahhab: Appointing an Army Chief is an Urgent Necessity

Former Minister Wiam Wahhab, head of the "Arab Tawhid Party," wrote on the "X" platform: "Dear Gebran. Appointing a chief of staff for the army is an urgent necessity in light of the current events. It is not a demand of a sect but a need for a country that has emptied all its institutions. The Druze are entrusted with leading the army and even with a larger position, as they are the founders of this country and the most committed to its continuity as a refuge for the free and the oppressed."
