Minister of Culture in the caretaker government, Mohamed Wissam Al-Murtada, emphasized during his presence at an exhibition in Moscow, invited by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and welcomed by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin, the importance of activating and strengthening cultural cooperation between the Russian and Lebanese peoples as it serves as a gateway to cooperation in all fields, especially economically. Al-Murtada affirmed that "Lebanon will again become an impressive humanitarian model, adorned with its highest characteristic represented by unity amidst diversity," considering that "the presidential vacancy will end with the election of a free, national president capable of uniting the Lebanese and leading the country towards recovery." For his part, the Russian host expressed admiration for Lebanon, noting that his country "looks forward to distinctive relations with all Lebanese components," supporting the specifications mentioned by Al-Murtada that "should be embodied by the expected president of the Lebanese Republic."
