Upon leaving the summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Joe Biden in California, the two leaders had a brief conversation about cars. As they approached Xi's limousine, the "Hongqi," which means "Red Flag," Biden remarked, "What a beautiful car!" Xi responded, "My Hongqi is made in China. Open it, take a look inside." Biden replied, "It looks like the Cadillac we have over there. And every time I travel abroad, that car follows me. Do you know what it’s called? The Beast!"
