The artist Majida El Roumi tweeted about the unfortunate events and the ongoing siege on Gaza by the Israeli army. She wrote on her Instagram account: "And we remain because Palestine will forever remain ours... With its martyrs, their blood sanctifies the land, their blood is a land that will return to us." She added: "O enemies of heaven and earth... whether you like it or not, you have killed, you have committed crimes, you have defiled our land... Jerusalem will remain Arab and Palestine is ours."
