Hamas and health officials announced today, Thursday, that "an Israeli airstrike killed a senior border official appointed by Hamas and three others in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip near the border with Egypt." They added that "the Hamas-appointed director of the Kerem Shalom crossing, Colonel Bassam Ghabin, who is controlled by Israel, and three other Palestinians were killed in the Israeli raid near the Rafah crossing gate."
