Officially.. Announcement of the Start Date of La Liga with a New Name

Today, Tuesday, the Spanish Football League "La Liga" announced the dates for the kickoff of the first round of the new season (2023-2024). The new name of the Spanish league starting this season will be (LaLiga EA Sports). The season will kick off on Friday, August 11, 2023, with a match between Almería and Rayo Vallecano at the "Power Horse" stadium, starting at 7:30 PM Spain time. Real Madrid will play their first match against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, August 12, at the "San Mamés" stadium, at 9:30 PM Spain time. Meanwhile, Barcelona will start their title defense on Sunday, August 13, 2023, against Getafe at 9:30 PM Spain time as well.
