Officials from the Ministry of Economy and Trade - Consumer Protection Department in Nabatieh, under the supervision and presence of the department head, Mohamed Beitar, conducted inspection rounds in the city of Nabatieh and towns of Kfarji and Kfar Rumaan, Haboush, and Arab Salim. The inspections were supported by elements from the State Security - Regional Directorate in Nabatieh, focusing on fuel stations to ensure the presence of seals, accurate measurements, and the safety of products. They also checked bakeries, butcher shops, resort kitchens, and tourist pools to review raw materials, verify expiration dates, and ensure safe preparation, storage, refrigeration, and price and weight announcements, resulting in a report against a butcher shop owner and the issuance of warnings and written notices emphasizing the necessity to comply with the laws and decisions issued by the ministry.
