Title: Over 3,800 Dead in Libya Floods According to New Toll

The floods caused by Hurricane "Daniel" two weeks ago in Libya have resulted in more than 3,800 fatalities, according to a new toll published on Saturday evening by authorities in eastern Libya. The floods that swept through the city of Derna in eastern Libya have claimed at least 3,845 lives, according to a new provisional count announced by the spokesperson for the Relief Operations Committee formed by the parliament-appointed government, Mohammed al-Jarh. He added that this toll only includes bodies that have been buried and recorded by the Ministry of Health, and it is "expected to rise every day." He mentioned that the bodies hastily buried by residents in the early days after the disaster are not included in this toll. He confirmed that authorities are working to count the victims buried without identification, as well as the missing persons, which the authorities and international humanitarian organizations estimate to exceed 10,000. He urged residents to report missing persons to two offices established by the public prosecutor in Derna.
