They clarified that "three others are in critical condition after nine people were transported from the scene to local hospitals while another 20 injured in the incident were taken to regional hospitals."
The healthcare institution "MedStar Health Baltimore" stated in an email response to Reuters that "the emergency department at MedStar Harbor Hospital treated 19 injured individuals on Sunday morning," adding that they "suffered from varying injuries due to gunfire." It was further mentioned: "The condition of nine seriously injured patients stabilized, and they were transferred to trauma centers in Baltimore." It was noted that "all injured individuals were discharged from the hospital except for one."
CNN reported, quoting officials, that "nine people were shot and transported to hospitals in the city," adding that "three of them are in critical condition." Local station Fox 45 Baltimore indicated that police transported ten people to hospitals, quoting a witness who claimed to have heard between 20 and 30 gunshots. Baltimore city police have deployed officers to the incident scene.
