Panic and Terror in Tripoli with Heavy Armed Presence

Panic and terror gripped Tripoli during the funeral of Hamas casualties at Al-Taqwa Mosque, due to a heavy armed presence, extensive gunfire, and the throwing of explosives in the course of Abu Ali River. This led to calls on social media for people to stay indoors and avoid going into the streets or onto balconies for public safety. Reports indicated that three injuries were transported to the Islamic Hospital. The funeral proceedings began after the noon prayer, as the bodies arrived from the government hospital to the mosque courtyard, and the wheat market in Bab al-Tabbaneh was closed for the third day in mourning.
