Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi stated that if all Islamic countries supported Palestine, "we would not witness many atrocities from the regime against Muslims in the region and the world today."
During his meeting yesterday with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Ataf, Raisi praised the revolutionary history and resilience of the Algerian people against colonialism, reaffirming Iran's commitment to developing cooperation and enhancing relations with Algeria.
The Iranian president described the relationship between Iran and Algeria as one between friendly, brotherly, and Islamic countries that can be expanded based on the close and aligned regional and international positions of both sides in various fields, including commerce and economy.
Referring to Iran's notable scientific and technological achievements, and announcing Iran's readiness to share these accomplishments with Algeria, Raisi emphasized that enhancing interaction among Islamic countries paves the way for forming a strong coalition of allied Islamic nations.
For his part, the Algerian Foreign Minister conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of his president to Raisi, noting the very fruitful phone conversations between the leaders of the two countries and affirming Algeria's determination, will, and readiness to expand relations with Iran at the highest possible level.
The Algerian Foreign Minister praised Iran's foreign policy achievements regarding relationships and efforts to expand ties with allied, friendly, and Muslim countries.
