Noursallah: Stop Fighting for the Sake of the People of Ain al-Hilweh Camp

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, issued a call to everyone in the Ain al-Hilweh camp to stop the fighting in any form, out of compassion for the displaced residents, at the conclusion of the Ashura procession in the city of Nabatiyeh, southern Lebanon. He stated, "What is happening in Ain al-Hilweh camp is painful, and we call on everyone in the camp to cease hostilities; anyone who can exert pressure to stop the fighting should do so."

He condemned attempts to burn the Quran, considering such actions an insult to Muslims worldwide, accusing Sweden and Europe of hypocrisy. He said, "There is a spy for Mossad who is insulting two billion Muslims globally by desecrating Islamic sanctities under the protection of the Swedish police. There is a hypocritical international community, and no entity protects Lebanon, its resources, and its sovereignty except for the resistance."

He added, "There is no longer any meaning for Muslim youth to wait for governments and organizations to take responsibility and punish those who offend the Quran with the harshest penalties." He continued, "We are in an era of victories achieved by peoples and resistances, not by states and governments." He also addressed the Lebanese Army, expressing his respect for it as a golden pillar and essential guarantee for stability, emphasizing, "It must be supported."
