Syrian Foreign Ministry Warns of Consequences of Attack on Rafah

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned of the "catastrophic consequences of any Israeli attack on the city of Rafah on civilian lives." In a statement, it confirmed that "the Israeli decision to launch a military attack on Palestinians constitutes a serious violation of international law and international humanitarian law." It appealed to "all countries of the world, particularly the International Court of Justice, to compel Israel to halt the human genocide," indicating that "the repeated displacement of Palestinians is morally condemned and imposes on the international community the responsibility to protect them and ensure their return to their homes."
