Syria Condemns U.S. Attacks on Deir Ezzor

Syria condemned the attack carried out by U.S. forces on certain areas in Deir Ezzor province, emphasizing its commitment to re-establishing state authority over all its territories and calling on all countries in the world to condemn this U.S. aggression. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated in a statement that "the repugnant American lies about the targeted sites are nothing but a failed attempt to justify this aggressive act and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Arab Republic of Syria and the unity and integrity of its territories, and a continuation of the attacks perpetrated by the 'Israeli' occupation entity." It added: "The Arab Republic of Syria reaffirms its commitment to ending the American occupation, restoring Syrian state authority over all its territories, and stopping U.S. support for separatist terrorist militias."
