Assistance from Germany to the Lebanese Army

The Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, welcomed the Commander of the German Armed Forces, General Carsten Breuer, in Yarzeh, who announced the provision of assistance to the Lebanese Army. This includes a quantity of fuel valued at one million euros and a quantity of medical supplies also valued at one million euros. They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries. After the ceremonial protocols were completed, a wreath was laid at the memorial in the courtyard of the Ministry of National Defense.
