Bouhabib: Our Argument Will Be Stronger with Hezbollah for Accepting a Ceasefire

The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bouhabib, confirmed that "we continue our communications with Lebanese parties to prevent the clashes with Israel from escalating to more serious levels," noting that "Israeli officials always threaten to destroy Lebanon, which increases tensions." In an interview with Al Jazeera, Bouhabib emphasized that "we are advocates of peace and know war and its consequences, and the Israelis should understand that too," pointing out that "many of the events at our borders are related to what is happening in Gaza, and we fear the expansion of the war." Bouhabib believes that "our argument will be stronger with Hezbollah and other organizations to accept a ceasefire."
