The U.S. Department of Treasury indicated today, Wednesday, that "the United States and Britain have imposed additional sanctions on officials and intermediaries in the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)." The department added: "The sanctions target eight individuals who work to sustain Hamas's activities by representing the movement's interests abroad and managing its financial affairs."
